About Us

Welcome to our website! We, the A.T.E. team, are a group of high schoolers from across the U.S. who want to increase awareness, empathy, understanding, and acceptance of neurodiversity in our communities and beyond. We came together for this project during our time at the Stanford Neurodiversity Project summer program, taking guidance from camp mentors, directors, and guest speakers. We presented our project at the Stanford Neurodiversity Summit in October of 2023.

Using the Design Thinking process, we created this website, which contains a variety of resources. The website relies on community perspectives for the creation and development of its resources, making it more personal to everyone.

We hope that you enjoy and learn from the website! Feel free to leave us feedback down below.

Sincerely,
Viviana, Jaelyn, Hamza, Sharvesh, Emily, and Ellie

The activities are short and insightful. When paired with the other content on the website, they increase understanding and acceptance.

The S2S section has short, talk-type advice videos. There is also an advice column where users can send in concerns to receive replies.

The newsletter contains articles with content generated from reputable sources. They are accessible through text, audio and video formats.
